LoadworkLab

Precision load development that respects your data.

A complete reloading workbench — ladder analysis, group statistics, brass-lot tracking, cost management and much more — in a single file you run on your own machine.

Your data is yours, not trapped in a subscription. The app works with or without a connection. Cancel anytime, keep your data.

We'll let you know when it ships. Occasional updates only. No spam.

Thanks. You're on the list. We'll be in touch when the app ships.
The pitch

The load development tool you wish you had.

Analysis that catches what your eye misses

Ladder tests reveal nodes. Groups stack into a leaderboard ranked by mean radius and MOA. Temperature compensation predicts cold-bore-to-summer drift from your own session data. Brass-lot fatigue is tracked by firing count with SD trend over time.

Most reloading apps log data. This one tells you what the data means.

Comprehensive depth without the friction

Track everything a serious reloader needs: rifle build, bullet specs, powder with temperature-stability flag, primer, brass per individual lot with firing history, per-shot pressure indicators, full session atmospheric conditions, CBTO, neck tension, and more on every load. Cost per round breaks down by component.

Or just type in a velocity and move on. Same tool serves both.

Works offline. Your data is yours.

The whole app is a single HTML file. Open it on Airplane Mode and everything works — including the analysis charts, the PDF report export, and the cost calculator. No account required to use it. Cloud sync and a mobile companion are on the roadmap; the desktop version will always work fully offline.

Built for two realities: serious shooting happens where cell signal doesn't reach, and your data set deserves more than a cloud server's promise.

What it looks like

The bench's-eye view.

Captures from the live app. Light mode for the bench at noon, dark mode for the bench at 11pm.

Loadwork Lab dashboard showing 4 rifles, 7 loads, 53 sessions, 2,523 total rounds, a barrel-life alert for the 6mm GT at 89% expected life, a low-stock alert for 140gr Berger Hybrid, and a recent-sessions table with realistic SD and ES values.
Dashboard Round counts, recent sessions, low-stock alerts, barrel-life status — at a glance.
Cross-session analysis view filtered to the 6mm GT PRS competition rifle, showing average velocity by cumulative round count across 24 sessions and 1,334 rounds — the curve flattens through the plateau then dips at the brass-lot transition and trends back upward.
Cross-session analysis Velocity drift, brass-lot transitions, and barrel-life trends laid out across every session you've logged.
Groups leaderboard showing 68 groups ranked by mean radius. Best mean radius is 0.125 inches (0.12 MOA at 100 yards). Top results are from the 6.5 Creedmoor Tikka with 140 Berger Hybrid, the 6mm GT with 105 Berger Hybrid, and the .308 Bergara with 168 ELD Match.
Groups leaderboard Every group you've ever shot, ranked by mean radius and MOA at distance.
Test sessions history view in dark mode, showing recent confirmation and group sessions across the 6mm GT and .308 rifles, with per-session shot count, average velocity, SD, ES, and atmospheric conditions all in a single table.
Session history (dark mode) Built for the bench at 11pm and the range at noon.
Why this exists

Built for shooters, by shooters.

The tool we wish we had at the bench.

This app isn't made by a software company that noticed a niche. It was created by reloaders, hunters, competitors — shooters. This tool was built in that context. Every decision starts from the same question: what's the absolute best tool for the work that happens before and after rounds are downrange?

Loadwork Lab exists because reloading data shouldn't have to live in five different places. Velocity in a chronograph app. Brass lots in a spreadsheet. Group analysis on some paper target lost in the garage. Cost calculations done ambiguously in your head. Different rifles in different notebooks. One tool should do all of it, and it should be yours.

The desktop app stays fully offline by design. Cloud sync and the mobile app are on the way. The serious tool stays serious for everyone.

Roadmap

Where we're going.

The desktop app is the foundation. Three directions on deck for the year after public launch.

  1. 01

    Insight engine

The app starts noticing patterns you didn't ask about. Charge drift across barrel life, conditions that correlate with your best groups, brass lots subtly underperforming. The more you log, the smarter it gets.

  2. 02

Ballistics solver, with real BC truing

Generate DOPE cards from your own measured velocity and atmospheric history. Includes proper BC truing — calibrate the solver against your actual observed drop, not the manufacturer's published number. The data is already in your sessions; the truing happens automatically.

  3. 03

    Mobile companion

Phone-based at-range capture. Photograph a target and get a full group analysis. Bluetooth chronograph pairing streams velocities straight into your session. Voice notes from the bench. Desktop stays the analysis surface; the phone handles what a laptop can't.
